Maintenance Mechanic - Alternate 12 Hour Weekend Shift

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our Lincoln, NE organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex machinery and equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  • Operate various shop machines, tools, and measuring devices to perform assigned duties.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve overall efficiency.
  • Perform general housekeeping and janitorial duties throughout the plant.
Requirements:
  • Preferred graduate from a trade school with Electromechanical Technology Trade degree or equivalent certification or experience.
  • Must have knowledge of shop math and possess above average skill in use of all precision measuring devices.
