Job Summary

Mediacom Communications is seeking a skilled Aerial Construction Lineman to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our telecommunications infrastructure, including coaxial cables and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain coaxial cables and other telecommunications equipment on aerial structures, such as utility poles and towers.
  • Perform aerial construction and splicing in accordance with industry codes and regulations.
  • Read system prints and understand the design and operation of telecommunications systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a CATV construction lineman or completion of a certified apprenticeship program.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical.
  • Knowledge of construction tools and equipment, including bucket trucks, lasher, blocks, and cable layers.
