Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns in a polite and professional manner.
  • Order Fulfillment: Identify and shop customer orders in a timely fashion to ensure accuracy and freshness.
  • Checkout Operations: Operate Front End scanning equipment and register, perform all related check out procedures, and maintain proper security measures.
  • Communication: Contact customers by phone to address questions or concerns.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions.
  • Sanitation and Maintenance: Maintain general sanitation in the department, follow cleaning schedules, and ensure work areas, equipment, and counters meet health and OSHA requirements.
  • Teamwork: Cooperate with co-workers and superiors to ensure smooth function of the department and store.
Requirements:
  • Education: Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
