Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Dental Assistant to join our team at Your Dental Recruiter. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist with all procedures, including patient oral evaluations, taking and developing high-quality X-rays, and performing provisional laboratory tasks.
  • Maintain a smooth workflow by efficiently managing the doctor's schedule and patient flow.
  • Prepare and review patient charts prior to appointments, accurately logging patient data, and transcribing the doctor's notes during exams and treatments.
  • Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
  • Educate patients on our services, answer questions, and help them feel comfortable with their care.
  • Verify and document patient health history, including medications, and understand their impact on dental treatments.
  • Prepare operatories for appointments and ensure they are clean, sterilized, and ready for each patient.
  • Coordinate with labs to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of products, managing all lab cases efficiently.
  • Assist in scheduling follow-up appointments to keep patient care on track.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask and manage a variety of daily activities with ease.
  • Keen eye for detail, ensuring accurate and high-quality work.
  • Proactive, able to anticipate the dentist's needs, and comfortable following detailed instructions.
  • Passionate about patient care and able to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Familiar with OSHA guidelines and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.
