Responsibilities:
- Oversee the perioperative department, including staff management and patient flow.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and departmental activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
Requirements:
- Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- One-year current Perioperative charge nurse or relief charge nurse experience.
- Bachelors degree in nursing or related field (desired).
- Two years or more Critical Care experience (desired).
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification (desired).
Additional Information:
- 36 guaranteed hours per week.
- 91 contract weeks.
