Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Stella San Jac. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience with every visit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Know and live the mission and values of White Lodging, demonstrating a passion for service and a commitment to excellence.
  • Complete all necessary setup, side work, and closing duties as assigned, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Monitor beverage consumption and ensure guests are not overserved, promoting responsible drinking practices.
  • Be knowledgeable about all menu items, their ingredients, and preparation methods, able to answer guest questions confidently and concisely.
  • Use suggestive selling and upselling techniques to increase check averages and enhance the guest experience.
  • Take accurate orders, read back to guests, and ring orders correctly into the system, ensuring seamless service.
  • Check food presentation before serving, ensuring hot food is hot and fresh.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction with food quality, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Follow all White Lodging cash handling policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records and adhering to end-of-shift protocols.
  • Promote teamwork and a safe, friendly work environment, contributing to a positive and productive team dynamic.
Requirements
  • Previous restaurant or bar experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for service and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities with ease.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
