Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at The Corvallis Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses. As a key member of our Ambulatory Surgery Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of improving health outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan patient care according to the nursing process, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in the orientation and training of new employees, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical skills and knowledge, applying evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, upholding the values of Optum and The Corvallis Clinic.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in critical care, PACU, or medical surgical nursing, with a strong background in perioperative nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well with providers, clinical staff, and patients, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.
