Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable laboratory results.
  • Perform complex laboratory tests and analyses as needed, staying current with advancements in medical technology and laboratory techniques.
  • Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement a schedule for the medical technologists and MLTs in the lab, promoting efficiency and productivity.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a medical technologist, with a progressive increase in responsibility.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information systems and data management.
