The Credit Review Officer is a vital role in evaluating and managing credit risk at Farmers and Merchants Bank of Long Beach. This position requires a strong understanding of credit analysis, financial analysis, and collateral analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CRSM to complete the annual credit review plan
  • Conduct independent credit reviews conforming to the Credit Review Charter and Policy
  • Develop expertise in credit analysis, financial analysis, collateral analysis, loan structure, and economic impact on credit risk
  • Provide assurance to stakeholders regarding risk-rated assets and loan portfolios
  • Maintain knowledge of commercial lending products and credit administration policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
  • Five or more years of credit analyst, loan officer, loan review, loan workout, or related experience
  • Current knowledge of industry lending practices
  • Loan review certification or other related certification encouraged
  • Data analysis skills a plus
