Key Responsibilities:

As a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant, your duties will include:

  • Conducting in-home patient visits according to the care plan established by a Physical Therapist.
  • Assisting patients with both active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, mobility training, and daily living activities.
  • Monitoring and documenting patient responses to treatments and reporting any changes to the supervising provider.
  • Providing education to patients and their families on how to actively participate in the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications:

  • Current unrestricted licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the relevant state.
  • Certification in CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation; willingness to travel is essential.
  • A minimum of one year of professional experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a home health or similar environment.
