Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Person to join our team at Hanover Foods. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment that meets the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a High Level of Cleanliness: Ensure all areas of the plant, including equipment, machinery, and workspaces, are clean and sanitized to meet USDA standards.
  • Operate Equipment and Machinery: Safely operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed to support production and sanitation tasks.
  • Assist with Sanitation Tasks: Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation cleaning schedules, including removing trash and debris, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Follow Food Safety and Quality Procedures: Adhere to GMPs, food safety, product quality, food security, and plant security policies and procedures to ensure high product integrity.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with production and sanitation team members to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
Requirements
  • Experience: 0-1 year of experience working in the industrial food industry, with a focus on sanitation and cleaning.
  • Skills: Ability to read, write, and understand English; ability to communicate clearly; and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
