Travel Nurse RN Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Medical Surgical Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Job Summary:This Medical Surgical Travel Nurse RN position is a 13-week assignment in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be able to work 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts. As a Medical Surgical Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, prioritizing data collection, and providing ongoing care and education to patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients.
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
- Prepare equipment and aid the physician during examination and treatment of patients.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures.
- Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by the physician.
- BLS certification
- 2 years of recent acute care experience
- Ability to work 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts
