Medication Administration Role at Liberty Health

At Liberty Health, we are seeking an experienced Certified Medication Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing medication administration services to our residents while maintaining their safety and well-being.

About the Job:

  • We require a certified nurse aide or completion of a 75-hour course along with our company’s medication administration course.
  • The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly or at least ten times per shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality medication administration to our residents.
  • Take orders, document orders, order medications, receive medications, and administer medications as required.
  • Conduct excellent universal precaution and hazardous chemical procedures to ensure resident and staff safety.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to guarantee quality nursing and medication orders.
  • Be vigilant about resident needs, reporting any changes in status immediately to doctors, families, and administration.
