DSJ Global is seeking an innovative SHE Manager to oversee all Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations and ensure site-wide compliance at their chemical manufacturing facility in Gaston, South Carolina. This role involves managing SHE costs within agreed budget and leading safety initiatives throughout the facility.

  • The SHE Manager will create, implement, and train staff on SHE policies and procedures in line with regulatory and corporate standards.
  • They will conduct thorough investigations of SHE incidents, report findings, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • The incumbent will lead emergency response management and oversee the site emergency response team when necessary.
  • They will analyze and improve safety and environmental performance.
  • The SHE Manager will also assist with Workers' Compensation.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Safety, Loss Prevention, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in safety and accident prevention in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing is desirable.
  • The incumbent should have extreme knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations.
  • Familiarity with Title V and NPDES regulations is essential.
Compensation:

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience.
