OUR MISSION
At All-Star Sports Academy (ASSA), we are dedicated to making a difference through our mission – "Inspiring and mentoring young athletes to become successful individuals – one game, one lesson, and one player at a time."
The Baseball Instructors at All-Star Sports Academy serve as the primary representatives of our daily programming. Instructors focus on providing personalized instruction to ASSA athletes. They also play a key role in supporting various initiatives, including camps, clinics, and teams as directed by the General Manager. Instructors are expected to cultivate and manage their roster of athletes while engaging in essential business development activities. Furthermore, Instructors should be eager to learn and effectively deliver the All-Star Sports Academy curriculum in a supportive and motivating manner. This is a non-exempt position reporting to the respective General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Concentrate on delivering individualized lessons in accordance with the All-Star methodology.
- Provide exceptional service with an emphasis on hospitality and positive engagement.
- Build and maintain a roster of athletes focusing on long-term player development relationships.
- Assist in and/or lead programs involving multiple participants (Camps, Clinics, Teams).
- Commit to continuous learning of the All-Star Sports Academy curriculum.
- Engage with youth athletes and their families daily, prioritizing outstanding customer service.
- Responsible for developing a personal instructor business through proactive outreach and business development efforts.
- Identify sales opportunities by researching potential prospects and leads.
- Collaborate with team members to establish effective strategic sales approaches.
- Manage inbound inquiries and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Address and overcome objections from prospective clients.
- Take pride in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the training center.
- Contribute to the development and coaching of training center teams.
- Coordinate with the sales department regarding training center usage.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
