Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to nursing staff within the healthcare organization.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in the development and management of Quality Improvement projects, incorporating standards of care according to regulatory guidelines.
- Staff Development: Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing staff.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing Services, multidisciplinary School Health leadership team, and Montefiore Medical Group Nurse Leadership team to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Clinical Expertise: Serve as a clinical resource person for Certified Community Health Workers (CCNCs) and provide guidance on patient care and management.
- Education: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or related field required; Master of Science degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse; minimum of 4 years management experience required.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral); effective management skills necessary to organize, direct, and evaluate the activities of patient care off-shift operations.
