Job Title: Med-Surg Registered Nurse

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Med-Surg Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in a top healthcare facility.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Med-Surg Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting. As a travel nurse with MedPro, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, develop your clinical skills, and gain valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide education to patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in good standing.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care Med-Surg setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
