Assistant Buyer

Davidson's is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Buyer to join our Merchandising Department. As an Assistant Buyer, you will play a critical role in procuring products that meet our company's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the procurement of products, ensuring timely delivery and optimal pricing.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with the Merchandising team to ensure accurate inventory management and efficient stock replenishment.
• Analyze purchasing data to inform buying decisions and strategies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Previous experience in a buying or procurement role, preferably in the outdoor/sporting goods industry.
• A strong knowledge of firearms and related accessories.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
