We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at United Vein & Vascular Centers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing lower extremity vascular exams and assisting physicians with phlebology procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all ordered lower extremity vascular exams and assist physicians with phlebology procedures.
- Collaborate with other clinic staff to maintain efficient patient flow and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Perform patient evaluation and assessment prior to ultrasound examination.
- Complete all appropriate reports following each patient interaction, following UVVC written ultrasound protocols.
- Perform ordered duplex ultrasound examination and other imaging studies.
- Submit diagnostic findings that accurately reflect each patient's disease process.
- Maintain equipment and image storage.
- Assist with management of supply inventory.
- RVT, RVS, or RPhS certification or eligibility to sit for vascular credential.
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (AHA) certification.
- Minimum 1 year experience performing vascular ultrasound scans preferred.
- Prior experience with phlebology scans and assisting procedures preferred.
- Demonstrate desire to learn, grow, and maintain knowledge of industry standards.
