Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Performance Academies. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing speech and language therapy for students with disabilities or impairments, developing individualized programming based on deficits with communication, pragmatics, interaction skills, community integration, and social skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate student's current level of functioning as it relates to the areas of language and communication, using culturally sensitive and appropriate assessment tools
  • Schedule, plan and convene ETR teams for the purposes of initial and re-evaluations
  • Regularly evaluate and report student progress, identifying strengths and needs to assist the team in making program modifications
  • Regularly collect and analyze data
  • Determine appropriate interventions based on assessment results
  • Collaborate with general education staff and special education staff to determine needs and monitor progress
  • Experience providing services within the general education setting
  • Experience participating on Teacher Based Teams
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid Speech and Language Pathology license from the Ohio professional board and certificate from the Ohio Department of Education
  • Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation
