Veterinary Pathology Specialist

About the Role:

This position will be responsible for supporting anatomic pathology evaluation, including microscopic tissue assessment, for Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and non-GLP studies. The successful candidate will serve as a Study Pathologist, interpreting and writing pathology reports in accordance with approved protocol requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct microscopic tissue assessments for GLP and non-GLP studies
  • Interpret and write pathology reports in accordance with approved protocol requirements
  • Train prosector skills and develop a team of pathologists
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • DVM/VMD degree and ACVP (Anatomic Pathology) board certification or MD board certified in Pathology (ABPath preferred)
  • Additional PhD or MS encouraged but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a board-certified veterinary or medical pathologist in a GLP research environment required
  • 10+ years of work experience and medical device experience preferred
