We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Avera St Benedict Health Center. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care.

About the Role:

The Clinical Laboratory Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties. You will utilize scientific principles, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities to deliver accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties with accuracy and precision
  • Maintain equipment, instruments, and quality control measures to ensure optimal performance
  • Analyze test results, correlate findings, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
  • Participate in continuing education, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited two-year college program or technical school required
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required within 12 months of hire
  • Six months to one year of related experience or training preferred

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $24.50 - $34.25 per hour
  • Varied shifts, including 6:30am-3:00pm, 8:30am-5:00pm, and every 5th weekend
