Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse Resident to join our team in the Clinical Decision Unit. As a RN Resident, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced nurses and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and develop your clinical skills.
About the RoleThis is a fast-paced unit with a high patient turnover rate, treating major diagnoses such as chest pain, syncope, and dizziness. As a RN Resident, you will work closely with a success coach to provide direct nursing care and establish priorities for patient care. You will also participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs and document patient information in medical records.
Requirements- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience
- Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
This role requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. You will also need to stand and walk for extended periods of time and work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
