  • We are looking for a Solutions Architect who thrives in diverse environments, is eager for professional development, and is committed to supporting significant IT initiatives for our client, a regulated utility organization based in New Jersey.
  • This role encompasses the design and execution of IT systems architecture that aligns with business objectives for a complex, long-term initiative aimed at modernizing the current SAP ERP framework to S4/HANA for a utility client.
Responsibilities:
  • Engage in process flow evaluation and redesign in collaboration with Business and IT Product Owners.
  • Create comprehensive functional design documentation that aligns with client specifications.
  • Work alongside a team of Developers and Engineers to identify the most suitable technical strategies and designs to fulfill business requirements.
  • Interact with clients to comprehend their needs, define solutions, articulate business advantages, and outline a roadmap to achieve their objectives.
  • Assist the business in evaluating the implications, risks, and impacts of modifications to existing architecture.
  • Develop technical specifications for custom development and systems integration needs.
  • Design workflows and assignment protocols to streamline manual tasks.
  • Maintain and produce system-related documentation, including business requirements, process diagrams, data mappings, and configuration sheets.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of eight (8+) years of relevant experience.
  • Consideration may be given for additional years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with SAP S/4 HANA, including relevant implementation or upgrade experience.
  • Proficient in requirements gathering and design documentation.
  • Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into effective solution designs.
  • Capable of posing the right questions to clarify and define solutions.
  • Familiarity with methodologies such as Agile, SDLC, and SCRUM and other industry standards.
  • Expertise in designing and constructing architectures that facilitate well-integrated transaction and collaborative solutions.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience within the utility sector is advantageous.
This is a Contract opportunity.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
