We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at a school in the Pearland, TX area.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each patient's unique needs.
- Educate patients and their families about speech disorders, their causes, and effective management techniques.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Supervise and provide guidance to speech therapy assistants as needed.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
- Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
- Previous experience in a speech-language pathology setting.
- Experience working in a school setting as an SLP is preferred.
- Must have a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Full accreditation (CCC) is preferred.
- Must be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year.
