Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled House Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operations and ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
  • Serves as a resource to the staff and contributes to performance evaluations.
  • Manages patient flow within assigned areas and provides support and coordination for patient emergencies.
  • Opens and leads incident command for internal or external disasters.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
  • Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established channels.
  • May provide input for hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating staff.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
  • Two years' registered nurse experience with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility.
Work Environment

This is a night shift position with a scheduled weekly hours of 24. SSM Health is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
