Job Summary

The Electrical Systems Engineer will be responsible for performing tasks within a framework of specific instructions, technical functions inside a work team focused on a specific task or project including the definition of processes and action plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and track evolving stakeholder requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Work closely with internal functional departments to ensure that stakeholder requirements are understood and fulfilled.
  • Define internal system specifications that will guide the design of electronic products.
  • Generate system architectures that describe all system elements, the relation to each other, and the interfaces as well as the dynamic behavior of the system.
  • Support System Integration and Validation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar Engineering field of study is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with and/or defining customer requirements is required; 5 or more is a plus.
  • Experience in the definition of engineering/electrical system architecture is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of ISO26262 and KGAS standards is desired.
  • Knowledge of ALM tools, as PTC Windchill RV&S tool and Polarion tool, and SysML modeling tools, as PTC Windchill Modeler tool and Enterprise Architect tool is desired.
  • Experience in power electronics is a plus.
  • Previous experience in direct contact with customers and suppliers is required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Compensation

The salary for this position is $85,000-$115,000.
