Labor and Delivery Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Labor & Delivery Nurse to join our team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Maternal Child Health department, you will provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor & Delivery setting, promoting a feeling of security and confidence in the care they will receive.
Responsibilities- Welcome each perinatal patient to the L&D Unit and promote a feeling of security in the care they will receive.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient's clinical condition, including fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies.
- Perform nursing duties as needed in the continuum of care for all areas of Maternal Child health.
- Participate in process improvement efforts and activities for the department.
- Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho or Compact RN License.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or Adv Life Spt Obstetrics obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds, serving southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana.
