About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the growth of the company, developing a strong people culture, ensuring customer satisfaction, and delivering bottom-line results. This will involve driving the activities of several functional areas, including Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Quality.

This leader will work closely with the Executive VP/General Manager and other senior leaders to provide strategies and prioritization across the management team. They will also be accountable for business results, food safety, and company policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the General Manager in developing overall business objectives
  • Developing and implementing strategies to accomplish these objectives and communicating them to all stakeholders
  • Creating initiatives to improve productivity, product quality, and plant capabilities
  • Establishing a culture of teamwork, mutual support, candor, and operational excellence

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 7 years of management experience in a food manufacturing business
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice and Food Safety protocols
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • An empathetic and people-focused approach
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and manage metrics
  • Leadership and training abilities
