Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all facets of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis for construction projects.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Oversee project cost accounting, including job costing and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and assess budget forecasts and cash flow projections for construction endeavors.
  • Monitor adherence to accounting policies, principles, and regulatory standards pertinent to the construction industry.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to deliver financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct financial audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation.
  • Guide and mentor junior accounting personnel, offering support and direction as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience within the construction industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction accounting principles, including job costing and WIP schedules.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and generate relevant reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
