About the Role: The Multimedia Technology Analyst I position at California University of Science and Medicine involves working under the direct supervision of the Chief Informational Officer. Your primary responsibility will be to provide faculty, staff, and students with technical expertise in campus 'smart spaces' to ensure that all technology functions flawlessly. To meet the needs of the instructional environment, you will collaborate with the information technology network team to ensure secure connectivity, remain current with developments in the field, and consistently deliver high-quality customer service.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in troubleshooting software, operating system, and networking problems. You will also be proficient in various technologies, including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Outlook/Teams, SharePoint, and Adobe Sign. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and a minimum of two years of experience in a related role are required.

Essential Functions:
  • 75% Multimedia Support
    • Perform daily inspections before classes and events held in lecture halls to ensure all technology is functioning as expected.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve software, operating system, and networking problems.
    • Conduct orientations and training sessions to build user skills in classroom technologies.
    • Schedule, support, and utilize monitoring tools to troubleshoot incidents and enhance the availability of 'smart spaces' services.
  • 20% Badge Access Control
    • Manage badge control software and print badges in-house for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
    • Monitor and update software as appropriate, order inventory, and ensure timely distribution of badges.
  • 5% Other Duties as Assigned

Salary and Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
