At CenExel iResearch, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Psychometrician to join our team. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for conducting neurocognitive test evaluations and interviews with study participants to assess their current levels of functioning and create a clinical impression of their current mood.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct interviews and ratings with study subjects to determine their current levels of functioning and create a clinical impression of their current mood.
- Complete organizational queries regarding neuro-psych testing.
- Maintain professional and appropriate interactions with sponsors and all other study-related personnel, subjects, families, and clinical staff members.
- Utilize interpersonal and clinical skills to assist in the appropriate management of difficult study subjects.
- Actively participate in acquiring ongoing knowledge and instruction.
- Provide proactive alternative choices to continue the growth and prosperity of the corporation.
- Anticipate and create solutions before problems arise.
- Assist management in maintaining a positive, motivated work environment.
- Responsible for professional conduct, including dress and interpersonal skills.
- Properly manage voice mail, e-mail, and exhibit proper telephone etiquette.
- Masters Degree in Healthcare or Education required. PhD, MD, DO, preferred.
- 2+ years clinical experience with psychiatric study subjects.
- 2+ years experience in the medical profession, and/or previous research experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, psychiatric study subjects, and medical terminology. They will also possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The physical demands of this role include prolonged sitting, standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. The work environment is an office setting, but may require occasional visits to the laboratory or medical areas.
