Job Overview

Beacon Group is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving people with disabilities across Southern Arizona and beyond. As a Floor Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering our mission by ensuring the overall care of the facilities' floors.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your skills and experience to maintain high-quality floors. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various floor-related tasks, including floor care, carpet care, stripping, and waxing. At least one year of demonstrated experience working with floors is required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all floor functions in assigned work areas.
  • Comply with all safety procedures as trained.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Notify supervisors of any maintenance or repairs needed in the work area.
  • Attend training sessions on OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard and Beacon's Exposure Control Policy.
Requirements
  • Applicant must have own transportation to and from work location.
  • At least one year of demonstrated experience with floors.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds unassisted.
  • Valid Arizona Driver License and clean 3-year MVR.
