We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim School Instructor to join our team at the Des Plaines Park District. As a Swim School Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming skills and water safety to students of various ages and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach swimming lessons with creativity, patience, and positivity.
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on student needs.
- Ensure the safety of participants at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive guest relations.
- Work collaboratively with the aquatic team to achieve program goals.
Requirements:
- Some high school education and basic knowledge of swim strokes and techniques.
- Must be at least 15 years old.
- Exceptional customer service attitude and previous experience with teaching or working with children.
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred but not required.
