As an A&P Mechanic, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the maintenance and repair of aircraft, adhering to safety and performance standards. This role encompasses conducting inspections, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs in compliance with FAA regulations and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various aircraft, with a focus on annual inspections and general A&P duties.
- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics to identify issues, ensuring aircraft safety and regulatory compliance.
- Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and rectify malfunctions.
- Accurately complete documentation and maintenance records in a timely manner.
- Work autonomously, maintaining high-quality standards without direct supervision.
- Effectively communicate with team members and other departments to facilitate efficient workflow and uphold safety standards.
- Preferred FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
- In-depth knowledge of airframe and powerplant mechanics.
- Able to work independently without direct oversight.
- Possess a complete tool set and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the U.S. government and eligible for export control, ITAR, and/or clearance.
- Must currently reside full-time in the USA.
- Competitive hourly wage starting at $20/hour, with potential to reach $25/hour based on expertise and capabilities.
- Opportunity to work alongside an FAA Subject Matter Expert and experienced A&P Mechanic.
- Paid Time Off.
- Flexible working hours from 8:30 AM to 4 PM on weekdays.
