Compensation ranges from $9-12/hour depending on experience and availability.

WHAT IS A MEDICAL SCRIBE?

A medical scribe is a trained documentation expert who records patient interactions in real-time.

Scribes will work alongside clinic physicians and gain exposure to medical procedures, terminology, and anatomy.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Accompany physicians to accurately document patient visits and procedures.
2. Create and verify medical charts for accuracy and completeness in line with practice standards.
3. Assist in finalizing charts by transcribing results from patient and physician consultations.
4. Record diagnoses, discharge instructions, prescriptions, and follow-up details.
5. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the practice manager or physician.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Passion for healthcare
• Highly motivated and experience-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
• Punctual and reliable
• Flexible availability for emergency department roles
• No prior experience necessary

Compensation details:
$9-11 Hourly Wage
