Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Office Receptionist to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a Medical Office Receptionist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and providing administrative support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver care to patients utilizing the Medical Office Receptionist Process
  • Perform patient check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting copays and deductible amounts
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
  • Obtain and verify patient and insurance information
  • Prepare charts and documents for patient appointments
  • Conduct record filing and retrieval, and assist with the filing of registration documentation
  • Confirm next day appointments and alert patients to required documentation
  • Follow up with patients regarding the Missed Appointment Policy
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Six months of medical experience in a clinic or business office customer service experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of insurance authorization and billing requirements
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of clinic procedures and regulatory requirements
