Job Summary:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Gundersen Lutheran Administrative, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality radiological exams and procedures to aid in medical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Your expertise will be essential in working with patients and their families to provide compassionate, individualized care in the provision of Nuclear Medicine services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform high-quality radiological exams and procedures to aid in medical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
2. Work with patients and their families to provide compassionate, individualized care in the provision of Nuclear Medicine services.
3. Demonstrate accurate knowledge of established protocols and equipment operation when performing exams on patients.
4. Provide high-quality service to customers in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
5. Maintain confidentiality with others regarding patient and organizational information.
6. Assume responsibility to provide a high-quality learning environment for patients, their families, students, and co-workers.
7. Perform other job-related responsibilities as listed on the competency checklist and as requested by others.

Requirements:

REQUIRED Post High School education in a specialized field: Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
REQUIRED 1 year clinical experience in nuclear medicine program. DESIRED 3-4 years of experience.
REQUIRED Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) within 6 months of hire date or American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist-Radiography (ARRT) Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands-on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
