Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Signal Integrity Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our SOC development team, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing high-speed serial interface systems, ensuring signal and power integrity from silicon to package to board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and model high-speed serial interface systems, including USB, PCIe, and comparable interfaces
  • Work with the circuit design team and vendors to optimize circuit and system design for signal and power integrity
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate signal and power integrity
  • Collaborate with product engineering and system engineering teams to debug and improve product yield
Requirements
  • MSEE degree and 3 years of industry experience (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with high-speed serial interfaces, signal and power integrity issues, and lab correlation/validation of simulation results
  • Excellent academic background and experience beyond graduate school studies
  • Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD degree and 5 years of industry experience (or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with lab equipment, such as VNA, TDR, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer, etc
  • Strong fundamentals in 3D/2D EM simulation tools and transmission line theory
Compensation and Benefits

At Apple, we offer a competitive base pay range of $135,400 to $250,600, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Our total compensation package includes comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and a range of discounted products and free services.
