Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of all procedures performed and adhere to strict safety protocols.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare tissue specimens for processing, including fixation, dehydration, clearing, and embedding in paraffin wax.
* Operate tissue processors and embedding centers.
* Utilize a microtome to cut thin sections of tissue from paraffin blocks.
* Prepare slides for staining and perform routine staining.
* Maintain accurate records of all procedures performed.
* Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

**Requirements:**

* Associate's Degree required.
* Current License to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technician or Histological Technician in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
* 0-1 years of technical experience required.

**Salary Range:**

The salary range for this position is $63-$63/hour.
