Position Summary

OPB is seeking to recruit two Program Managers to enhance our expanding team. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, the Program Managers will be responsible for monitoring and assessing current national account initiatives while also spearheading the development of new programs. Collaboration with the VP of Sales will be essential to ensure the optimization of program opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor sales activities to create accurate forecasts.
  • Engage in the development and tracking of forecasts.
  • Analyze the USA hardline DIY markets and assess competitive landscapes.
  • Contribute actively to the identification of new business opportunities.
  • Oversee all phases of new program implementation from award to in-store presentation.
  • Track competitor pricing and retail displays.
  • Collaborate with Sales Management and Marketing to formulate promotional strategies.
  • Review online content and partner with management and marketing to ensure top-tier presentation.
  • Explore opportunities for expanding store counts of existing products.
  • Monitor program fixture requirements.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and visual aids for regular status update meetings.
  • Participate in program presentations alongside the VP of Sales and clients.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work from the designated office.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, ideally with a vendor in the Lowes or Mass Merchant sector, focusing on Merchandising or Assortment Planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong customer service orientation and adept multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
