Position Overview

The Building Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining the living spaces of our residents to the highest standards. You will also address resident concerns and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong service mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Maintenance Director in identifying necessary repairs or replacements in apartments, common areas, landscaping, and parking facilities.
  • Complete work orders submitted by residents and staff promptly.
  • Participate in preventative maintenance to refurbish or replace aging items and minimize costly repairs.
  • Execute special projects as assigned.
  • Be available for rotational on-call duties.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in general maintenance or construction.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and related fields.
