POSITION SUMMARY
We are in search of a seasoned HR professional to join our team as an Employee Relations Advisor. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in Human Resources, particularly in the area of Employee Relations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the HR Director, the Employee Relations Advisor will oversee the implementation and management of Human Resources policies and procedures relevant to employee relations, ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and standards.
This position involves contributing to the creation and delivery of training and information related to employee engagement and onboarding processes. The Advisor will also engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing employee relations and overall engagement.
Collaboration with leadership and the HR team on various projects aimed at improving the employee experience is essential. The role includes minimizing legal risks and ensuring that effective management practices are consistently applied.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should possess a minimum of three to five years of experience in human resources, with a focus on complex employee relations matters, employment law, EEO, and ADA compliance. A Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business management, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience is required.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential, along with excellent written communication abilities. Candidates should be self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel is also necessary.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s degree in human resources with seven years of experience focusing on employee relations, employment law, EEO, and ADA is preferred. Experience in a healthcare or human services organization is advantageous. SHRM-CP certification and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish are also desirable.
