This position reports to the Director of Estimating.

Full-Time direct hire: Monday through Friday with travel requirements (25%).

Job Overview:

Responsible for crafting proposals and bids related to material handling storage systems within the designated region. Analyze plans and specifications to devise innovative solutions that provide a competitive advantage in a sales-driven environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

To excel in this role, the individual must effectively manage the following essential duties:

• Generate quotes and proposals for the Sales Team's utilization.
• Examine plans, specifications, and other client documents to create and prepare cost estimates for labor, materials, goods, and services.
• Offer alternative solutions in response to Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
• Define project scope and procure competitive pricing for non-manufactured components, non-standard parts, labor, and freight.
• Monitor changes in project scope.
• Follow up on submitted proposals.
• Report outcomes of successful or unsuccessful bids to management.
• Coordinate resources for addressing customer service inquiries from clients or distributors.
• Maintain records of projects and proposals.
• Engage in field troubleshooting for customer service issues or additional sales responsibilities.
• May interact with municipal or private industry representatives, including engineers and other professional personnel.
• May contact clients for clarification on bids.

Expected Deliverables:

• Exceptional sales support and proposal development that consistently meets or exceeds both external and internal customer satisfaction in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a complex organizational setting.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team development skills.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution; or 5 or more years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience equivalent.

The salary range for this position is between $65K - $70K, with some flexibility.
