Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:
The Laboratory Technician at Revvity will be responsible for performing various activities related to cord blood or tissue processing or testing, including ABO, Hematology, and Flow Cytometry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and be able to maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train on all aspects of cord blood processing or tissue processing and basic scientific understanding of human cells.
- Ability to use aseptic technique and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Position requires handling blood and blood products, working with LN2 freezers, and working with large LN2 vapor phase storage tanks.
- Strict attention to detail and an outstanding work ethic are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work in a collaborative style in a fast-paced team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Essential skills in MS Office and Excel are required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in life or natural sciences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Laboratory experience in an FDA-regulated environment.
- Understanding of cGMP, cGTP, and AABB Guidelines.
Working Conditions:
- Clean room environment with receiving and labeling, controlled rate freeze area, and materials warehouse.
- Requires the ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time, ascend and descend stairs.
