Key Features of the Position:
- Employment through ECU Health Physicians - Community Practice Model
- Privileges at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, affiliated with ECU Health Medical Center
- Part of a growing healthcare system with 9 hospitals led by physicians
- Established program with a team of 8 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers
- Comprehensive specialty support including oncology, cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, OBGYN, orthopedics, behavioral health, pulmonology, critical care, urology, and rheumatology
- 7 On / 7 Off schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM
- Average inpatient census of 45 patients
- Nightly admissions ranging from 6 to 8
- ICU procedures preferred but not mandatory
- Management of a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit with short-term ventilator management
- Support from an experienced nursing staff
- Opportunity to reside in a picturesque waterfront community ideal for water sports and fishing, with a reasonable cost of living
- Proximity to Greenville, North Carolina, a mid-sized city with a population of 95,000 and home to East Carolina University
In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, qualified candidates may be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonuses, income guarantees, and stipends for residency or fellowship commitments.
