KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome all customers and proactively engage with them to assess their needs and enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain the company’s merchandising and presentation standards by adhering to established floor layouts, signage guidelines, pricing updates, and inventory management practices.
- Encourage participation in company initiatives, such as customer loyalty programs, warranty options, and private label credit card sign-ups.
- Follow all safety protocols, loss prevention strategies, and operational procedures.
- Ensure confidentiality of all company-related information.
- Foster an inclusive store atmosphere where every individual, both teammates and customers, feels valued, secure, and respected.
- Adopt a collaborative approach to support team efforts throughout the store.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashier roles, or customer service is preferred.
- Physical capability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift items weighing between 15 to 35 lbs. repeatedly (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods (up to 4 hours) while standing or walking.
- Comfortable working at heights exceeding 4 feet using ladders or aerial devices.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for brief intervals (up to 2 hours continuously).
