Job Overview:

As a key member of the Disability Solutions team, you will play a vital role in shaping and closing business opportunities aligned with our internal objectives. Your work products and interactions will span multiple levels, from your program office team to executive leadership.

This role involves coordinating and managing moderately complex proposals, contracts, and purchase orders involving limited financial considerations or technical significance. You will apply and expand on your knowledge, skills, and experience required for effective contract administration, including negotiations and regular communication with customers and management. Building professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers is essential.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Understand the USG acquisition and procurement environment, contracts function, company policies, commercial contracting methods, export regulations, FAR/DFAR, and other requirements.
  • Pricing environment in government contracting support and lead assigned proposals, analyzing solicitations, preparing summaries with attention to financial and business risk, participating in proposal team meetings, preparing terms, conditions, and assumptions, reviewing technical and pricing bids for accuracy and consistency, and preparing proposal documents for submittal to customers.
  • Performing and monitoring all aspects of assigned contracts, including accuracy of order entry data, contract funding, scope changes, amendments, account receivables, delivery schedules, legal matters, etc.
  • Maintaining logs of proposals and collecting data for reporting to management.
  • Compiling and maintaining contractual records and documents per contract and company requirements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years' work experience or equivalent experience.
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with company personnel and customers.
  • Proficiency in computer skills for data entry, reports, and other documents.
  • Sound judgment for decision-making while complying with policies, procedures, principles, and applicable federal laws and regulations.
  • Ability to focus on closure and achieve results.

Estimated Salary Range: $58,300 - $99,100
