Orlando Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in an Advanced Care role. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities- Administer patient care in an area with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio, requiring highly trained team members with advanced skills.
- Utilize critical knowledge, skills, and judgment to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
- Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
- Assess patient needs and develop/revises an individualized plan of care based on patient needs and responses.
- Respect diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members and customers.
- Function as a patient and family advocate.
- Communicate and collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to effectively plan and manage the unit/department.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Maintains current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
- ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
- Endoscopy and PACU experience.
Work schedule is 4/10 days off, can vary from week to week, Monday - Friday.
