Prep Cook

Job Summary

As a Prep Cook at Island View Casino Resort, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality foods and providing excellent service to guests and co-workers. You will work in assigned stations such as the pantry, bar, back prep, line prep, and salad bar to produce quality foods and assist in food production as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food production and preparation
• Provide friendly and courteous service to guests and co-workers
• Adhere to item recipes set by the Executive Chefs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• One to three years of previous experience in a commercial kitchen
• Post-secondary education or culinary program/college is a plus
• ACF certification is a plus
